Director, Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) | 2013
  • The Co-operative Academy of Professional Education was formed to establish and run Educational Institutions in various professional fields to provide facilities for education, training, research and development, consultancy and related services of International Standards.
  • As the director, was responsible for efficient and prudent corporate management, in providing swift resolutions of various business-related issues and make wise decisions for CAPE.
Managing Director, Consumer Fed (2006 - 2013)
  • Led the state government owned firm in co-operative sector with more than 1500 units and 5000+ employees. Developed and executed business strategies that resulted in increase of the turnover from Rs. 350 Crores to Rs.1800 Crores within 7 years of my tenure. The organization had turned profitable after serving loss in the past 40 years.
  • Gave leadership to conduct more than one lakh co-operative outlets, to implement full computerization and networking and to introduce innovative diversification projects.
  • Designed and implemented CPDS (Co-operative Public Distribution System) by establishing more than 2000 Nanma stores, floating & mobile supermarkets in all assembly constituencies of the State.
  • Awarded with Good Service Entry and Recognition for best performance as Managing Director by the Government of Kerala for leading the market intervention efforts to curb price rise of essential commodities.
Superintending Engineer, Kerala Irrigation Department (1985 - 2016)
  • Retired from Government service as Water Management Specialist and Superintending Engineer in Kerala Irrigation Department in April 2016.
  • Supervised construction and maintenance of navigation canals, flood control works and quality control of different types of works executed by the department.
  • Aranmula Water stadium for Boat race, Flood Protection work for Sabarimala Pilgrimage and Maramon Convention and Renovation of ‘Kollam Thodu’ (T.S.Canal), Flood Control, River Protection, Inland Navigation and Anti-sea erosion work, Kuttanad Development Project, Command Area Development were some important developmental activities of the state, executed and supervised by me.
Civil Engineer | Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (1983- 1985)
  • Supervised construction of tunnel works at the underground powerhouse site at Kadamparai in Tamilnadu and dockyard foundation works at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh
